Warranty Policy
Consideration of all warranty claims is based on the Leyman Flat Rate Warranty Schedule. The Leyman Warranty Claim Form must be completed in full and forwarded to Leyman at warranty@leymanlift.com. All returned parts should be packaged securely. The package should be returned to:
Terms of Warranty: Leyman Manufacturing Corporation agrees to replace any parts or components, which are found to be defective during the first two (2) years. The two (2) years comes in effect thirty (30) days after date of shipment from our facility. This gives the installer time to install the lift gate and the end user time to put the lift gate in service. Leyman Manufacturing Corporation also agrees to reimburse any labor performed, in accordance to Leyman Manufacturing Corporation’s Flat Rate Warranty Schedule. All defective components must be replaced with Leyman OEM parts. All requests for warranty must be filed via the internet at www.leymanlift.com under the warranty section.
Emergency Warranty Situations: In the event of an emergency warranty situation, i.e. after hours or weekends, Leyman Manufacturing Corporation should be contacted on the next business day to obtain a Return Goods Authorization Number. The Warranty Claim Form must be submitted via the internet. Any work performed in emergency situations will be based on Leyman’s Flat Rate Warranty Schedule.

Warranty Claim Procedures
All warranty repairs must be performed by an authorized Leyman warranty facility or pre-approved by Leyman’s Warranty Department before work is done. For repairs not covered in Leyman’s Flat Rate Warranty Schedule, Leyman’s Warranty Department must be notified before work is completed.
Procedure for Filing Warranty Claim: All claims for warranty must be received via the internet within thirty (30) Days of the repair date or the warranty will be disallowed. All claims must include the following information on the Warranty Claim Form:
· Leyman R.G.A. Number · Distributor or repair facility name, address, phone number and person making claim. · Customer name, address and phone number. · Lift Gate Model Number. · Lift Gate Serial Number. · Date of purchase, Date of failure, Date of repair. · Detailed description of the problem. · Description of repair. · Parts and labor required for repair, including the part number and the price of the part. · Labor hours, labor rate and total labor.
All defective components are subject to inspection upon return within thirty (30) days of repair date prior to the claim being processed.
Shipment of Warranty Parts All warranty replacement parts will be sent out via ground freight. Alternative methods of shipment are available at the request of the customer, provided the customer accepts all responsibility of the freight costs incurred. Once the defective part has been replaced and is ready to be returned to Leyman Manufacturing Corporation, please call the Warranty Department for a call tag.
Restocking Parts Policy and Procedure Contact the Leyman Inside Sales Department with the original invoice number(s) and the Leyman part number(s). A return goods authorization number will be issued. Complete and unused parts issued by Leyman, which have invoiced in the past ninety (90) days, that are current and in new condition will be considered for restocking. A charge of 25% of the original invoice price will be assessed. All returns must be shipped freight pre-paid. Freight charges assessed when the original order was placed will not be credited. Returned parts must be received within thirty (30) days of the request. Leyman reserves the right to refuse any partial or damaged parts. Upon satisfactory completion of this procedure your account will be credited.
